Medical Reserve Corps
Synopsis: Volunteers transport a giant band-aid across Boston in an epic relay race throughout the city.
Objective: Create a 60 second spot for the Boston Medical Reserve Corps to recruit medical and non-medical volunteers.
Background: This tongue in cheek spot showcases the variety of medical and non-medical volunteers that can participate in the Boston Medical Reserve Corps. Each volunteer is an important link in the trek to transport the band-aid . We also wanted to root the spot as thoroughly Bostonian by highlighting recognizable landmarks and neighborhoods. The increasingly epic journey of the band-aid highlights that the volunteers’ are crucial whether they are helping with a city-wide emergency or a more mundane event such as a flu clinic.
